Nowadays, in the fashion world one can be either voluptuous a.k.a fat or gorgeous a.k.a rail thin. Sophie Dahl, one of my favourite contributing writers to Vogue magazine, has been successful at managing her modeling career as both, first thin (and anorexic) and then as a plus size model. At present, she has finally found her ideal weight and career. Mrs. Dahl, perhaps most known for her Opium advertisement fiasco back in 2000, is once again causing quite a stir. Now it’s with her ‘sexed up’, as often referred to as by UK gossip glossies, BBC cookery show. Sophie has recently published a cooking book titled “Miss Dahl’s voluptuous delights”. It’s a lovely book that seems more like a memoir than your regular recipe collection, has lots of delightful photos and recipes that are organized around the four seasons. On a 1 to 5 creativity scale, I’d give it a 4.9. She is currently writing her next food book that I am certainly looking forward to. Any who, Mrs. Dahl has been criticized by British TV show chefs for her seductive cooking show which premiered in March. Below is a clip of one of the episodes, and the rest are featured on youtube. As always, Brits love their gossip and drama and cause unnecessary fuss over slightly revealing wardrobe choices and couple of lippy comments by Sophie Dahl.Vodpod videos no longer available.
